Anyone actually believes this 'scientific report' has the red- white & blue khack of govt bullshiitte shoved so far up in them they have a bump on the top of their skull.

Bought & paid for by big agra. Just like all the unlisted sweeteners that have made America into fatass citay.

"Food & Water Watch, a government accountability group in Washington D.C., said the committee's ties to the biotech industry and other corporations create conflicts of interest and raise questions about the independence of its work."

"Hey the food we genetically modify to be resistant to the pesticides we spray on them don't cause cancer!"

Many people misunderstand what a genetically modified organic is. A large population confuses selective breeding with GMO. GMO is when they splice pieces of DNA from a different species (insects and bacteria) and inserts that DNA into existing plant DNA. Selective breeding is a natural process of selecting specific plants with beneficial traits and crossing them with other plants with similar traits. The main purpose of GMO is to breed plants that are less likely to be killed by pesticides and can accept more serious and powerful chemicals to produce higher yields.

The big scam is that once a chemical company creates a GMO, they patent it and its seeds and literally own the seeds that fall from plants grown on private farms.

If it were not for the selective breeding of corn, we would be unable to feed the human population today. The science of GMO is very powerful and useful in the right hands (not chemical companies), but the current application is very dangerous and being tested on everyday people.

Remember 100 years ago doctors said cigarettes were safe and healthy and we all know how that turned out.

Maybe if it were not for the selective breeding of corn we would not have the human population problem we have today. A population problem that has brought on a whole host of problems effecting the planet.
