The living in the future while ignoring the present, hype season? Choose to be happy with now, waves or not. Hinging your happiness on a future event is not wise unless you have a Flux Capacitor, a Delorian, and have already attended said future event. Frothing over an ever changing forecast is really weird unless you're new to the game and have not yet learned forecasts usually come with inaccuracies or completely miss the mark.

She just went notch up! Why, why on Memorial day? I'm off so we gonna have to find us a little secluded sand bar DSUP. Hey I heard surfing season started. Is that true?
I will show you the way, there is a sandbar that is lonely and needs attention and is calling your name
And what makes you think that post is from a dude, B...? It isn't gender-specific. It's just wacko. So sensitive these days, this country. Shades of Meg-un Kelly's hyper-drama diva ratings game huffy queen bee act. (and it was a ratings pull gender whining fulmination)
That plus anybody that talks about Delorians has just got to be guy. A female would think it is a perfume.
