Yep, January....that time of winter when you're hibernating in chucka-boo-boo's Maine barn, duct taped to his rape dummy....oh wait, he posted something about how he often confused the two of you as the other during those dark months.

True, for today, butt Sunday, Monday & Tuesday may glimpse surfable waves at the-place-that-shall-not-be-named & that's the plan.

As fo' cooter, well, he scores all the time with his dummy in that Maine rape barn.

As of today, that tropical low #2 isn't really impressing too much.
Has not increased windspeed or lowered barometric pressure at all.
Maybe turn into another intense rainstorm; nothing much yet in the circular motion.
Hope it stays over water to give itself a mo' betta chance to develop!!

It looks too close for FL to get anything good, but I'll take what I can get. OBX should be fun.

I surfed a very shallow reef at incoming high tide on the longboard. It was waist high, dumpy on the drop. Bouncy conditions, had to be careful slapping the whitewater falling backwards at the end of rides so I wouldn't penetrate and hit bottom, which I did only once. Luckily it was small and weak, which necessitated me hitting this spot. Only two shortboarders out. One messed his board up.

I should have gotten up early and gone further north but I got hammered last night, my long lost buddy played at the tiki bar. But it was a fun session, and an adrenaline rush even on a small weak swell. I hope ya'll in the Carolinas and youze guyz points north get it better. Be safe and have fun.

Chest to head high round here, was a little disorganized and soft early on but the sets had power and were really fun. Wind still making it slightly bumpy but it cleaned up as the tide was coming in. Offshore wind will clean it up and make veddy niiiiiice.
