    Anyone know the model pat Schmidt was riding with his fish IG video at the inlet. Looked super smooth.

    Who's pat Schmidt's? Why do you wan to surf like pat Schmidt's? You really should be asking;
    What kind of leash does pat Schmidt's use? What kind of surf shorts pat Schmidt's wear? What brand wax pat Schmidt's like?
    Or better yet...
    HOW PAT SCHMIDT'S SURF LIKE THAT?

    Usually it's not the tool it's the operator
    These guys could ride a plastic lunch tray and make it look smooth.

    I generally throw around $18 worth of stickers on my boards and it tends to help with speed and airs.

    It's one of his signature models that they sell at Inlet Outlet in Manasquan
    It's a 5'6 twin fish, I've been riding something nearly identical and it's been a blast with this 2-3ft summer surf we've had the last week

    Another board to consider....

    I bought one off another SI member last fall and have had more fun on it than any other board I've owned. Makes knee-thigh as fun as can be. The board does all the work. Mine is a 5'0 and I'm 6'1, 175lbs.

    ^ but I think any fish can make somebody look smooth if it fits them and/or they know how to ride it
