Shark bit a surfers long board this morning. Board broke in half. He was not bitten. What a way to start the day.

Actually more worried about gators in the surf than sharks. That and the man eatin' jellies.

The idiot did not even lose a toe??
Thats not a shark attack, it's a shark annoyance.
Now, had he lost a toe or similar appendage, then we would have something to talk about.
The idiot should go back and try again......loser.

He lost a board! That shark was a complete douche canoe... If I walked up you on land and snapped your board in half you'd be pissed... Someone should smack the sh!t out of that fukker

Sounds like you are having a bad day at work.
I am having a very nice day. Maybe you should just grab your time card, punch out, and go surfing-sounds as if you need it.....

Well the one good thing I can say about surfing in New England is NO SHARKS to worry about. Unless you are in the Chatham area or Orleans down on the Cape. Waters too cold for Whites to come up here and Tigers and Bulls are non existent here too. Closest thing we have is Makos which are very very fast but have NO interest in chasing us surfers, just those pesky fast tuna!!

Ummm....no......we do have whites here. We have seals, therefore we have whites, and, the waters are NOT "too cold" for whites. As long as they can get enough calories to maintain their metabolism rates in our cooler waters, they are fine. Seals provide them with all the calories they need. Last summer, a white was spotted and filmed off of Wells Beach in Maine.
Sorry to spoil your evening, but it is safe to go in the waters now.....
