I've been waiting all day for the swell to fill in here in Rhode Island. It's showing on the Block Island buoy for sure.

I dunno...I'm seeing some guys out on the cams but it doesn't look all that epic, and I can't be arsed to go drive looking for surf at 7:30. But damn, 5 ft at 12 sec ought to be producing some really strong surf here, I would have thought.

It was really nice at topsail yesterday ,caught some at EI in the am then hauled ass to surf city and hit the pier about 1130 it peaked about 2 or so and the sets were really chunky ,lot of people out but plenty of room for everybody ,seemed like lot of guys were just floatin and watchin. This morning hit it early at EI and swell was still looking good .and a heartfelt thanks to all the kooks from wherever who float around inside with their rented softops and just get in the way.

 

To the kooks in the water with cameras on their boards and their main move is malibu hopping over and over again .what in the world are yu doing ,how can anybody watch that video if all yu do is hop .and if yu have to hop when waves were that good yu need a bigger board

 

Haha...not surfing and getting fat drinking IPA's when I'm not up to my eyeballs in work...sucks, dude...I don't even feel like I'm a surfer anymore 'cause I don't have the time to even do it anymore...trying to get my ass in shape and hoping that I'll have a chance to get out there at least a couple times this year.

It's god damn depressing, man.

I miss being on here, but I feel like a poser now.
I have logged 0 hours of water time in 2016.

Those pics are awesome Mitch. A few of my recent sessions in Jersey the water has been extremely clear and blue. I wish it were like that all the time. Jealous of those cats that get to see that everyday in the South/Carribean/Pacific etc.
