smaller this morning than its been, but man. CRAZY fun longboard waves this morning on Delmarva. Rode the log this morning and had a blast. BTW, this picture is not me.

Water is hovering around 75....second day in a row just skinning it for 2+ hours and not being chilly at all. FINALLY!

I was thinking the same thing. How the photo captures the texture of the wave is wild.

Skinned it for the first time this year. Crazy early thanks to the relentless south swell train we've had for the past weeks and weeks. Usually can't go without rubber until September, if at all. Today was toasty for 90 minutes.

So nice. Was getting crumbly after 30 minutes with the onshores picking up, but it was still sweet to be out with just the bare necessities. HH to a little OH today. OH++ to maybe DOH last week. Rest of the week will be CH to HH until Thurs/Fri when the next bomber south arrives.

Thanks man! Good vibe this morning. It helps that we've had waves (mostly better than this) for pretty much 10 days straight...nobody's agitated. Plus the Monday morning crew is usually stoked to get past the weekend traffic...crowds...BS.

Here's another one of an old local, friendly been around forever type.

There has been a knee-thigh rideable line at low tide past couple days but the tides aren't lining up with my work schedule right now. Hope to get back to it on Thurs / Friday

    What's happening?
Caught some of those low tide, waist high, summer fun, beauties this morning. Light winds and warm water. Had my bellied out noserider and put the fin all the way back. Noticed the difference on the first wave. In the turns and at the nose. Good fun. Ended up staying in the water a little later than usual. No time for eggs before work.

    Anyone else been surfing?

Super fun again this morning... no wind, belly high, punchy, and nobody all morning on the incoming where I was. Got a ton of waves.

Then the tide got high enough, so I swam way out and shot a 20" fluke. Great day in the water...

Yes, definitely fun this morning. I was also all alone where I was at this morning. Waves were easy to get into and you could get a bunch of them. I caught dp with the dropping tide but it was still fun. I think the clouds and fog kept everyone away this morning. Works for me. Fun day.
