    Fact: 70% of all deaths in hospitals occur after nurse shift changes. Kinda tells you all you need to know about communication & medical care these days. I know several people who requested the hospital-supplied bed/cot & then slept in the room of the patient/family member to ensure the patient left the hospital alive.

    Fact: frosty water wings troll is still demonstrating Yankee-worshipping behavior in tread after tread.

    In tertiary care hospitals, those with residency programs, the deaths spike in July, when the new residents start their residencies. Never have surgery in a tertiary care hospital in the summer......new surgeons start training!!
