higher premiums, higher deductibles, less coverage...the only people that believe that the ACA is a good deal are the ones that are getting a huge subsidy

Prior to ACA, my plan included, for a family of 3, 80/20 payment % for medical, 100% dental, $500 deductible.
For this I paid $465 a month. My plan changed to a $5000 deductible under ACA plus premiums went up to just $500, but for 2 (daughter flew the coop). If you did not get this--you got a bad deal under ACA.

So, on an old thread you stated that you owned your own business and that you hire illegal immigrants.

Now, you state that your "employer of 40,000 people" supplies you with insurance.

    Which is it, Hannah?

    Thanks Obama

Cheap foreign labour to increase your profits while legal citizen homelessness is on the rise.
Good lookin out for the health of the country that gave you the opportunity to have such a good life, Simpleton.

Nah, I'm not gonna dig up any of your twaddling tripe, you bore me to tears Hannah.

But I will concede that I probably misunderstand you a lot, because you have a very effeminate way of talking in riddles, rather than saying exactly what you mean in plain language (like a normal man).

Maybe best for all concerned just to step away from the Big Boy's table while the adults are talking...at least until your nuts have dropped.

    Mmkay, Hannah?

Come to think of it, I do remember that thread and you strongly inferred that you would most definitely hire illegals for your business (or project or whatever). I also distinctly remember that several Swellies took exception to your flippant attitude about the law and straight up called you out on it.

    And what did you do?

You disappeared without a response with your tail tucked firmly between your legs.

Nice try on the spin in your response about how I "wasn't worth correcting" though. Apparently, there were several Swellies that you didn't have the sack to respond to.

Why should anybody expect anything else from SI's very own "Spin Queen"? lol

You haven't made clear what you do. Whether it's your own biz or your employer of 40,00 hires illegals, your support for hiring foreign labor to drive down wages in this country make you complicit.
If my patriotism puts me on a high horse, so be it traitor.

Another spin from the Spin Queen...nice try, everybody knows that you're actually butthurt.

Whoa, stop spinning, I'm getting dizzy!!!

So basically you admit that you have your own company and that you hire illegals, and your 40,000-strong employer is just another figment you made up in that pretty little head of yours. You must be so busy keeping trying to keep up with all the denigrations thrown at your boyfriend Obama. Got his nuts in your mouth much?

Your credibility is nil, Hannah. I'm calling you a flat-out liar.

Again, with the vague riddles...not one question answered, just another left-handed dodge.

    OK, "son".

    My experience with the ACA:

Before retirement, I shopped the ACA on the market in comparison with my current plan. What I found out is with my income and family situation, I would've had a higher premium and deductible with less coverage under ACA. I kept my original plan, which has seen my premiums jump considerably every year since the enactment of the ACA (thanks, Obama).

I have heard this story many times from people who share similar circumstances, I.e., middle-to-upper middle class families. I have no reason to doubt that this is a very common occurrence.

Obviously, the more money you make, the more you pay into the system. Transversely, poorer people pay less and less until one qualifies for subsidization (or even free).

Therefore, a prudent and rational person can deduce that the only people that win under ACA are the poor, and the insurance companies.

Hopefully we get Trump (Lesser of 2 evils) and hopefully he cancels ACA.
