There's a couple. Seek and you shall find, brother. There's just very limited paring in the immediate area of the public access stairs.

lol spot on archy u know exactly where I'm speaking of.i surfed there for a long time, where the handrail is,not going to name spots....yea those guards there I cant stand them, best part is there a bunch of hs kids on summer vacation.on occasion when its not crowded,i like to swim out by the jetty and bodysurf, and il be out there for 5 minutes before I see them start running over il ride a wave in,take a crazy wipeout and come out like whats up lol?i always tell them, dude I'm out here in January by myself when the waves are 6ft and its 15 degrees outside.oh its not safe, bla bla bla

havnt been down near the pit in a minute.breaks great there in the winter, but that's the 1 spot everyone has to swarm on and theres empty rights right down the beach.when its only 4 or 5 ppl its cool, but I'm not surfing there when theres 15 ppl out there.

yessir that's correct, sea bright is the only official parking.u can take ur chances on the side streets before the bridge, but the cops are always patrolling and all it takes is 1 resident to say something.u can park up the road at the old coast guard station, but idk I just like to not have to worry about it.

my grandma lived on one of those side streets at the very end.she died a number of years ago,but I still know all the neighbors and always park there.i never stay for over 2 hours when I'm parked on those streets.lol ppl don't know.....sb came back to life after sandy, before that I havnt seen a wave there since I was a young child going to my grandmas and I didn't even surf back then.thats why I havnt been hitting up mb or lb,thats where I end up if the waves suck at sb.the hooks been pretty good too this winter, long outside sandbars

Suit yourself Cep. Most of the crowd can barely make it down the line, but I do agree just down the way is good and no one out, but The Pit is where I grew up and generally the best. Me, I gauge the crowd. If it's pro-world I'll go down the way.

    Really? Problem? What problem?

If the residents of Deal (read: Summer bennies) think they have a parking problem in thier town- maybe they should take a trip to ANY other NJ beach in the summer, on the weekend- only to find out that Deal could be possibly the least crowded and easiest place to park...

These people... As if there arnt bigger issues to deal with in the world. oh yea... I forgot- they are rich and some how are probably still paying less taxes then I and other working folk who live here year round and actually care about this area...

It's more than just surfin for me. The beaches are nice, you can bring a dog. Nice place to chill and relax without the hassles of goin to the beach in LB.

I just need to know that when I finally get the balls to surf the belmar, will there be parking? Can you imagine saving up for a trip and go all that way to find out there is no public parking?

lol no shortage of parking in Belmar.its nice to be able to drive and see the waves, and see the waves from ur car.i have to climb over rockwalls and walk 8 minutes down the beach to see the water.and that's why Belmar is Belmar lol

Don't worry- there will always be plenty of parking and waves for the Belmar Visitors. Belmar is a very friendly place- everyone is excepted and parking if free (except on the one side of ocean ave.)
