Most people don't know good food. Neither do you, apparently. Now go to McDonalds, PJ....or you can have it your way at BK.
Well, if you really are forced to drink italian piss wine, I suppose one of those 3 might do...the Brunello....but Valpolicella??
Every Internet troll has a different backstory, and therefore different reasons for feeling the need to troll a community on the Internet. They may feel depressed, attention-starved, angry, sad, jealous, narcissistic or some other form of bad emotion. Trolling makes cowardly people feel stronger. They say you should ignore them but it is pretty hard. I like to antagonize them. Barry proves this about himself with every post. Sad really. he's gonna post something bad about me I'm sure of it. whatever. I'm going to ignore it.
Have you ever had a good Amarone? There are some incredible bottles. A quality amarone with a good steak is hard to beat.
Geez you actually proved me right before i got to post it. I can only imagine the fuming that he is doing right now in his basement. Like a volcano or something.
I have not, and do not even know what it is, frankly. BTW, I do not like Portuguese wines, Spanish wines, Chilean wines, Argentine wines or Aussie wines. They all taste crappy to me. German wines are however, pretty good.
You know why everything taste like schit to you?! You're OLD. Im not even saying this to be mean. It's Science! "Aging changes in the senses As you age, the way your senses (hearing, vision, taste, smell, touch) give you information about the world changes. Your senses become less sharp, and this can make it harder for you to notice details. Sensory changes can affect your lifestyle. You may have problems communicating, enjoying activities, and staying involved with people. Sensory changes can lead to isolation. It's all downhill from here, baarrrry
Try one if you have chance. The good ones are pricey, but worth it. With you on the Spanish, Portuguese and Chilean wines. I'm sure there are good ones, I just haven't had them. I've had a couple of Argentine Malbecs that were ok. I don't recall ever having German, I'll give it a shot.
Yikes!!! But don't believe everything you read. My senses are just fine. But hey, I accept aging--doesn't bother me, as it does others. And btw, food in Italy sucks, always has, and always will.
As for the Germans, white wines are best; red not so much. But, they are, imho, sweeter than French, if you like sweet wines, which I usually don't Rhine wines are best for me in german lines.
I normally don't like sweet wines and I drink red 99% of the time. Cabs, zinfandel, amarone are what I dig most. But I've found all kinds that I've liked unexpectedly. Usually because someone that knew sh!t receommended
That beach pizza though, mmmm... This thread has gotten way off topic and frankly a sort of pissing contest. I'd say whomever drinks the most crap wine will piss farthest.
Branchinelli's in Hauppauge Long Island. My wife's grandpa and her uncle kept telling me how good it was and one day i tried it as i was passing by. It's a good frigging pie. And cheap.
You might like some of the Dry Rieslings from the Finger Lakes area, Barry. I think many of them are exceptional for German style American wines... and a beautiful place to visit, too. Take the wife in the Fall, and rent a cabin on one of the lakes. Tour the wineries while there are few people in the area, and you can spend some time cruising open roads through the hills.
Seldom wins this argument. The best pizza in the world is in New Haven. 100yard long lines in the summer. Thin crust. Give me a large pep and onion, cheese dripping like sauce, so thin it collapses and i have to fold it and shove it all in my face... there is new haven pizza, and then there are losers who think there is pizza that is acceptable to consume outside the greater new haven area. that is a crime and you should be stoned to death with elephant testicles.
there is alot of decent ones my area. J and J off of 50, not bad brick oven...I like grottos, mancini's, and miones. and just this year, one of those fast food chain pizza joints opened up, kinda like a subway, piaza...I thought it was pretty decent pie when in a hurry. Had one yesterday after going to home depot, tasty.
Have to agree. Not a fan of Michael Angelos or Attilios. It's all in the crust and the crust is junk there. Best pizza I had was Roccos when I commuted to Morristown. Around here, Luigis in Little Silver isn't bad and I liked Vic's in Bradley Beach for the thin crust when I lived there.
Bro. If it's still there. Vinnies on 35 in wall in front of the old shop right. Good sauce. Good bread.
