    screw the flowers! I have a wife and kids too but itll never last unless you prioritize some alone time! if its a ? of being dishonest just tell her the truth! your getting paid to surf and you need some one on one with your board!

    How Seldom Got His Groove Back

    Aight crackers, so here's what it is.

    I took a little strand of everyone's advise, and spun it into the old duder's head(lotta strands, man)...

    So I kept my mouth shut till Thursday night. As the week progressed various forces coalesced and the Universe made it obvious Friday was the day. Told her exactly the deal, boss gave me 8 hours last minute but he says I need to go surf. Said I'd be home by 1 and will bring any kine eats or treats she wanted. She was all good with that and I was home by 1215 to be exact.

    Was it firing? No, but there were fairly consistent 3 foot sets breaking in 6 inches of water and blowing out the back. It was hot af and the water was warm. I had the whole ocean to myself for about an hour. I'll save the rest of the deets for Peajay's thread, which is getting long, he started it.
