Man, I don't know much about the BZ line throughout the years, but I'm sure a quick googly search can give you more info on year/core materials/etc...I mean, I dig the colours and the fact it's got a UFO if you hate it just use it for shorey sessionnes.

 

Unfortunately, if you love to booger, we should be boycotting anything currently made by BZ and Morey. Sad days. Support the smaller companies.

So Morey and BZ got sold and re-purchased by some major toy company, and put Jared Brown in charge of both. I didn't know much about JB until all this went down but I guess he's a 'retired' pro but apparently has a reputation for having no balls. Anywho, there was this 30 year old patent held by the other toy company that owned Morey/BZ that said both companies have exclusive rights to boards with all black rails, and they recently sent out a cease and desist to all the remaining real BB companies like Custom X, Toobs, idk if they dared send one to Science, that'd be fkn blaspheme. Anyway, they're claiming exclusive rights to having all black rails on boards and file suit if anyone infringes.

In other words, ghey.

I'm willing to bet that the guys pushing squares of foam through a press are making way more money than, say, a Matt Biolos or Scott Busbey (I.e., master craftsmen).

 

It's BZ, so it's garbage. It's got a center plug wristie, and that's garbage. The whole thing is worth $20 if it's brand new still wrapped in plastic.
