The news just said it will be available in the Tampa Bay area in 60 days. Discusse. I predict DPSUP goes first lol.
A friend of mine moved to cali and got herself the card or whatever. She said all she did was go to a doctor and complained that she had trouble sleeping. When it got passed in NY, or was being discussed in NY. Not sure if it was actually passed. But they were saying they would limit it to only certain medical issues. Arthritis, cancer, some other stuff. Point being, it may not be so easy to get. Or it could be really easy to get. Depends on how they are regulating it
Gotta get Grandma (my 84 year old Mom) down there. Won't do much for her glaucoma (she's legally blind), but if it could reduce some of her negativity and OCD... Just when we're getting our kids out the door, we start taking care of the grandparents. I may need some of that cannabis myself.
That's cool! If it's anything like NJ, you'll need cancer or Aids to get a medical card. I told the doc out here I have anxiety - Which I do. + Helps me sleep like a baby. Otherwise im up all night. My co-worker just gifted me two plants this morning. Kinda stoked, they're both about 2' tall.
Hahaha, you bet! Working on my story now, I do have anxiety and it helps me sleep like Scobey said, and my wife has a condition that could get her a card too, she doesn't smoke anymore but she'll get it for me if my excuse don't work.
Don't y'all go getting too excited now. This is just something that passed into law years ago finally coming to fruition. The only thing that will be available is an oil extract typically low in THC, high in CBD to be ingested in pill form or by injection. It will only be avaiable for certain very specific medical conditions. Things will not be like they are in Colorado or California. However, it is a step in the right direction. A broader Florida MMJ amendment will be on the statewide ballot again this year. It narrowly missed passing two years ago when interests from out of state (Adelson) plowed large sums of money into efforts to defeat it. So, please, vote YES on Amendment Two this November. While you're at it, consider not voting for the presidential candidate whose likely attorney general (fat boy from NJ) is rabidly anti-MJ, medical or otherwise.
Oh great ..after those morgan and morgan ads...finally happens...now that I'm moving back from jax bch to Santa cruz...just great.. Oh wait....I'm moving back to CA.... Nevermind
Meh, I wouldn't count on being a Colorado type situation. Theres tons of states that allow medical MJ and are real strict with actually giving out cards.
lol that's exactly what I was thinking.medical weed doesn't mean recreational,u need to be dying to get a card.its a start tho so congrats on the new bill lol
most of the people I know that don't smoke are alcoholics.its either one or the other,i feel safer inhaling the devils lettuce than drinking lucifers bathwater..funny I say this because I was at the bar earlier at lunch
