Waist high this morning, and the fish and the dolphin were jumping. Nice way to start the day.

They ain't the only ones telling everyone to go to assateague but not sure it makes a difference. The sandbars in delmarva basically suck so the choices are very limited which is why it is so crowded. Happens every year like clockwork! I was off last week thus the family and I chose to hang out at the Teague all day. Had my board but the crowds were two much for me. My son surfed but I chose to watch the **** show and drink beers. I must admit sitting back and watching the show was quite entertaining!

Paddled 2 miles this morning, prone on my longboard.
Flat, nobody out. No Atlantic terns diving, no fish splashing, no stripers, no sharks.
    Just me.
    Did I miss the memo???

See the bad thing about this time of year is that if it's just a foot, there's gonna be at least 25-30 people surfing the inlet in Manasquan. Especially Friday's through Sunday's. And the amount of people that just lay on their board just taking up space in the water is absolutely maddening. And by take up space, I literally mean floating around in the water on their board. Many of the good spots in Monmouth and northern Ocean counties are like this. Same thing for the assorted towns in Atlantic and Cape May counties, that I've frequented at various times in the summer months.

Dawn and dusk aren't bad though. That's when I prefer to get out there.

What a superfun sesh today! Clean knee to waist high waves with punch from the incoming tide! Woohoo! Ocean too warm at 86, sunny air at 88-- man we were sweating out there. And the Betties met up with Valhalla and DPSUP and their respective wives.

It got crowded of course. But it was great to see all the locals having a blast!

As Valhalla would say, I feel sorry for people who don't surf.

86 degrees! Da fuq! It's finally in the lower 70's in Monmouth County! I might get burn marks if it gets a degree or two warmer!

C'mon bonana, you can do better than that! You're losing your spot as one of the Forume's top useless trolls with weak-ass posts like that, flubber.

State this morning was ok, just ok. Bus pulled up with flubber bonana's inbred women on foamies, someone get them on salads.

Waist, maybe, on better waves. Secondary swell corrupted many waves. Still good for dbl digits in wave count, still fun, and that water is still cold wtf.

We had a great time Betty, clean conditions make small waves fun! Despite the crowd, lots of waves were ridden. Can't think of a better way to spend the day. My wife even got out there for a change, which was fun to see. She got to her feet for the first time which made her smile ear to ear. We were spent after 4hrs and went and grubbed out after. Beer never tasted so good. Sam Adams Summer Ale is liquid gold.

Six hour sesh today on the log. I started out on the fish but this swell just wasn't having it, too small. Switched out for the 9'6" and went to town on thigh high and occasional waist high waves. I was in the water from 8AM to 2:30PM and took two 10 min breaks. I was having too much fun. Feeling like death now though. It was a south swell with the gorgeous off shore winds. Took a bunch of long lefts and rights. Trying to work on my cross stepping. It's hard! But I get it in on a few rides. It's just fun cruising on the log. I am, however, so ready for some pacific swell. Getting bored with the small E/C stuff.

Hope everyone else is scoring whoop whoop

No hurricanes on the horizon yet.
I guess Al Gore and his band of ghey "global warming" douchecanoes got it wrong.

Chincoteague yesterday with the family for a few hours at low tide. Some surfable waves coming through but strangely cold.
