One time I went to some Thai restaurant and got shrimp. They looked just like that. Maybe not quite as big. But pretty damn big. Deader and pinker but still looking at me when I ate them. Pretty good although wierd.

I want to add one more thing about this "invasive species" thing.I don't see a problem happening, its happening all over the world. Take imigration for example. Things need to evolve, expand boundries, invade. Things can't stay the same forever; who are we to say what's supposed to be normal? Let the earth do its thing. We adapt or die off. It's that simple.
Besides, we all like jumbo gumbo shwimps!

Lol, "out of touch" is just a bit harsh Triple Cdawg. Not much of a movie guy, even less so for sci-fi. Documentaries are more my stylee.

Instead of carbon tax, calorie/fat tax.
We ought to tax according to fat as it equates to consumption.
That means stank will have his taxes raised to 10000000000%.
    hahhahahaha!!!

Out of touch was self directed (as what some of my peeps think) .. I should have prefaced that with "movies" and "pop culture". Not much of a movie guy either (it has to rerun on AMC ~47 times).. but have been known to absorb a documentary. I think I have a clue about what is going down, as I gather so do you, especially considering all the knowledge that gets dropped here by the SI braintrust.

I like good movies, that say something or explore various aspects of the human/non-human experience. I like docos too, of course.

But I hate sh!t movies. I hate even more when someone's like, "oh you didn't see that movie/tv show/whatever the fock? Where have you been?"...and I'm like, outside, getting roasted in the woods with my dog or pitted.

Stanky...I'm not sure I understand...us as food for another species? bacteria/microbes? Or aliens?

I gotta say, if I had to, I'd eat some human back strap, preferably well donne from a clean specimen though.
