We old farts here may recall when the Iranians took our embassy, and all of its inhabitants (100s of em) hostage back when they threw out our friend, The Shah. Iran used to be a party place before then. Those F-ers marched our fellow citizens around in the street, on international TV, for around a year cuz Jimmy Carter was a pansy. They laughed at us and made those hostages live an endless nightmare... We were off the coast with an aircraft carrier battle group, cruise missiles, SEALs, the whole nine, wishing Carter would let us do SOMETHING. That was a very long year. We did get beer on board twice though...

Then Reagan was elected. The folks back home said Reagan was a lunatic, couldn't be trusted with the nuke codes, etc. Just like they're talkin about Trump now. The Iranians believed that too. Didn't matter if it was true or not. THEY believed it. They were certain he'd turn Iran into a sheet of glass. As soon as Reagan was elected, the hostages were released.

Personally, I want those f-ers to think Pres Trump is a raging lunatic.

Conversely, imagine the laughter the streets over there if Billary gets elected.

Drop all your preconceived notions and ponder that for a minute.

We ain't ever gonna get a perfect Pres. The best folks won't ever run. I ain't thinkin about much other than stopping those crazy F-ers. I really don't think people grasp the seriousness of the day. Let Trump unload on the world and restore peace. After that, we can pick a new Pres using more civil guidelines.

Perhaps the "best" Pres has to adjust with the times. Right now we need Brock Lesnar. Maybe next time, when it's nice outside again, Tommy Chong.

Imagine that... a half way intelligent post in support of Trump, without a reference to conspiracy theories or name calling.

Dropping preconceived notions, the current situation is not like Iran in that there is no country to go after, to nuke or otherwise. We are dropping bombs on the bastards everywhere we find them... what do you think Trump can do differently? Boots on the ground? Do you think that would work?

The notion that anyone in the Middle East thinks that Hillary, who is more hawkish than Obama by a long shot, is not going to continue the targeted assassination of our enemies is baseless. So, why would they be happy if she is elected? Honestly, I think they will be happier if TRUMP is elected because he will aid recruitment and he has said he won't honor our country's treaties and agreements. That weakens the potential for a cohesive response with the europeans and the Saudis... that is good for terrorists.
