    He's a beast!

Me & Bub's have the same 4 guys left on Fantasy.
Awesomeusername (whoever you are) - If JW loses & Flores takes #1, Bubs has a shot to take your top spot.

I'd hate to have to surf against Kelly.

That air drop to the limbo-under-the-lip-barrel was INSANE. It didn't even factor into his top 2!
    Mental!!

would be even better if he makes a run for his 12th title.hes 8th on the board, pretty far off but u have trestles, europe and Hawaii.im sure he'll lose early at trestles to the brazzos, but france and Portugal I can see him doing well.he smoked jjf lol, that was the best final this year

Slater. What else can this guy write in his book of immortality? 44 and better than ever. Makes me feel good to see a guy near my age performing at so high a level. He has to place quarters or better from here on to catch Medina/Florence...they are just gonna keep on racking points.Makes me wonder where things would be if he had been in Rio. Great to see him get this one. Who would ever pick JJ being combo as the clock runs down?

I think naysayers of surfing as a sport will totally flame me for this one, but I think Kelly Slater might be one of the most durable and slowly aging athletes there is. I'd say Jaromir Jagr in hockey is probably the leader in that category but Slater is certainly up there in terms of longevity and competitiveness into old(er) age.
