Thanksgiving always has swell here on LI. If winds are ehh, the trip down to Jersey is usually worth it. I actually hadn't spent thanksgiving with my family in a few years. They all head to Pennsylvania to visit grandma, I stay home and surf. My family thinks I'm a jerk
Ok, so here's the poop. I'll be out west, nowhere near a beach, from sept 15 thru the end of October. That should give y'all plenty of surf and possibly that epic swell. I'll take leftovers when I get back; so save me some please.
I already said it will happen mid September at the earliest. That's when I go back to work and rarely have any time to surf, unless I only wanna sleep 4 or 5 hours a night.
Holy schit. Is this what it means?? Was #9/12 sent to us from the future. Were we using it before we really knew what it was?!? #9/12 - swell of the century!
The National Day of Encouragement in the United States was announced in 2007 and occurs each year on 9/12. I'll do my part early, Get out and eat some taco! There, hope I encouraged someone!
" the winter equinox of 2017 contains a significant weather event foretold by the ancient Sumerian scripts, the script reads as follows... "as the north and east combine they descend south to meet the summer whirlwind, the two dance at sea near the Great Berm" translated North and east is a Noreaster.. .it moves south and combines with a rare winter tropical storm("summerwhirlwind") they combine near the Great Berm(Bermuda) and produce 27ft swells at 19 seconds for the east coast here is an ancient Sumerian art piece depicting the event
thinking winter time...just a gut feeling. We may have one of the worst Nor'Easters in recorded history. One of those bombs that just explode off Florida/SC and head up the coast. And go out on a limb and say will happen during astronomical high tides.
