I have not done much to secure our freedoms. What i have done is reached my hand out to help an older black lady up a step a day after I was cornered and threatened by a group of black guys in NYC. The day Obama was inaugurated I argued with a friend to give him a chance, even after I had done all I could to elect his opponent. When that idiot shot up a black church i morned for the loss even though Im sure most of those people vote against what I think is best for the country. Being a good American is not always about grand or heroic gestures its about small Acts of kindness and acceptance. And showing repect to the ideal America, an ideal that may never be reached but it deserves at the very least to get to your feet to honor that dream.

Cheaper steel? Yes please. Honestly why should I care that 12,000 people lost their steel jobs last year? Where is it written that anyone owes them a living? If you believe in capitalism (which you obviously hate) free trade is a positive. I always laugh at so called conservatives like yourself that preach anti trade just like a socialist.
