Stationary now as a Cat 3. Stronger wind and a delay in the NE swing should make for a solid pulse of swell later in the week. Both factors outperforming the forecast model so while brief there should be a shot for a good to epic session at the right spot and time.

I finally saw a satellite infared image of gaston, thanks a lot Austin btw....wow that thing looks pretty big,if it were to head inland,we would be fugged
Mr Gaston just turned but still a strong storm pumping swell our way. This coastal low is tweaking things though.
these set ups are why i kite surf . Northeast winds here in the mid atlantic are the best . Downwinders for days. Then one morning of clean surf , and then leftovers . going to be a fun few weeks here on the east coast .
o Barry... Honest Question.. do you have a military haircut and did you surf yesterday afternoon in just trunks at the north end of the wall... I feel like that was you.. I seen you if it is
Sorry to disappoint you, but no, not me. No military haircut for me. One needs hair for that!!! Long gone. I never surf the north end of the wall--that is where all the chumps and morons go--the "see me surf" crowd. I go elsewhere and always get more waves and better waves. It is the gift of long standing experience. I hope you had a great session, but frankly, thous swell has been extremely WEAK for a hurricane swell. I have seen better swells after a pod of Orcas farted out at sea......
O'wise one, not sure the "hurricane swell" is here yet. Most of the east coast is getting swell now from multiple sources. Gaston is just starting to deliver tO us and should filter in to New England even.... Patience wise one. NE probably did not see much of these last couple of systems????
