Hey Dogg! A friend was at the inlet today walking. She said the waves were beautiful, clean and at times waist to shoulder. She said there were license plates from all over the USA in the parking lot, and lots of guys speaking foreign languages. That sounded kind of wild! Then, I thought of you and hoped you got to have some fun on the tropical waves, even if it was crowded. Also, I heard there is a low hanging off the coast of Melbourne today. I hope there is something left in the water for this weekend
You forgot about all the Yinzers, spreading out like a plague across our great nation with their Steelers crap.
I was out there had a blast, deff some shoulder high drops, crowded for sure, I surfed the bowl a lot less people and more locals down that way, caught a lot of waves today ....beat. Thanks for thinking of me.
I am so glad to hear that! I know how much you miss surfing when it's week after week of small waves I just got another email from a buddy who surfed there yesterday. He said there were def outstanding surfers there. He loved watching this one guy swoop down right by his SUP and pull into a tube. On days that are too big for me, it's still superfun to watch guys like you making surfing look easy!
The lefts were wide open with that S.W. wind a blowin, got barreled a few times and hammered a few times too....haha.....went out today, size really dropped waist high at best, brought my short board, wrong choice, should have brought a little more foam with me, but "oh well", crowds were still there , caught 4 waves at the peak, got cut off 4 times on the shoulder....so I left....haha....got my waves yesterday when it was much bigger. You know, sometimes I wish winter would get here....good surf, no crowds. Peace, see ya out there soon.
