preach brotha. I don't pass through gun wavin new haven too often, but when I do I have to hit Modern. Stopped there with the lady on the way back from Block one Saturday night at like 11:30 this summer and put down a whole pie. Not sure if that's something to be proud of but damn it was good
Modern. 15 years ago I would've said Pepes. 20 years ago that place on grand ave in fair haven. Total money laundering joint. Seldom and I went there one grommeting day with King Turd et al. Went back a few times when I first got my license. Part of the thrill was not getting murdered to death.
Any fans of the following?: -Ledo's -Gentleman Jims -Grotto Unfortunately have not tried any New Haven pizza joints, but now it is on the bucket list since I drive by there several times a year, and I might as well stop since it seems lately that I-95 is down to one lane somewhere in the vicinity.
Grotto freaking sucks I've been coming to Delaware my entire life and I can honestly tell you not a single local actually likes that place. They are a Chuckie Cheese without the cheese.
Pizza = bread loaded with high saturated fat, salt up the ying yang, fatty cheeses, and salty fake tomato sauce. Typical trashy italian food........ And yet, I like it!!
