Correct JayD. Esp. about the system being rigged. League of Women Voters ran the presidential debates until '88, then stopped as they (para.) "refuse to perpetuate a fraud". Guess who's run it ever since? A bi-partisan committee of the Dempublican and Republicrat parties. And now they've had about 30 years to refine the dog and pony show. But hey, they had "forum" the other night, and asked some real "tough" questions, right? Same thing as a real debate, right? I'll just quote the esteemed Maynard James Keenan: All you read and Wear or see and Hear on TV Is a product Begging for your Fatass dirty Dollar So...Shut up and Buy my new record Send more money **** you, buddy. From the song "Hooker With A *****".
No, I eluded to the manipulation of results by certain actors on each side, for their own reasons. The companies that make their living by producing accurate polls live and die on the accuracy of their polling and results, and they do everything they can to not manipulate or skew the data. And believe me, both sides pay big $ to get the real data. As I mentioned, it's very important for them to know if it's worth dumping millions in campaign money into a state like NC or FL, or if that money would be better spent in PA or Ohio. I could go into more but honestly this is something that you really have to take a while and study to get how the sampling works and to be able to do the math, and I haven't done any of that in any detail in decades. Not saying at all you (or 80% of the people of this forum) couldn't learn and do it, just that it takes time. That and I'm lazy. But trust me, their are real polls out there that are accurate, and with some digging you can go back and see how accurate they've been going back decades.
Spot on. The RNC would kill to have a Republican slick Willie. If only Hillary could play the sax, it would already by over. But apparently she can't even play a flute.
You're my dog but I'm going to respectfully disagree. I don't believe any of its accurate. Maybe I'm just paranoid, but as a sales person (an honest one) I know how numbers and data are manipulated and used to get people to buy in.
No problem DPS. And please take no offense, but as a wise man once said, science doesn't require you to believe in it. After the election, let's see what the numbers end up looking like and if they matched up with the polls. The non-BS polls, that is. Have a good one, I'm out for now.
The Quinnipiac survey found Johnson with the support of 15% of North Carolina voters, higher than what most polling in the state has shown. We don't know what Aleppo is either... Newscasters are so smart....
Im sure in his mind that's what he's thinking... "Why is MSNBC asking me about dog food?!?!" THe man is not a presidential fit. Also, he said he quit smoking pot. That's a lie!
I actually watched that before I posted. Those smarty pants newscasters are so condescending... Why not say Syria?
http://nypost.com/2016/09/11/hillary-clinton-has-medical-episode-at-911-ceremony/ What have I, and others here, been saying...?!? She is not well; ergo, unfit for the Presidency. Hillary Clinton suffered a “medical episode” Sunday morning — causing her to abruptly leave the 9/11 anniversary service, sources said. The 68-year-old Democratic nominee appeared to faint shortly before 10 a.m. as family members of the 2,977 victims were reading through their names, and minutes before a moment of silence at 9:58 a.m. commemorating the collapse of the South Tower, sources told The Post. A witness said the former Secretary of State’s knees buckled and she lost a shoe as her security team rushed her to a nearby van. Clinton left the event so abruptly that she even left behind the pool of reporters assigned to follow her.
She's strong as ever Yankee. All this crap about her health is just pure conspiracy theory made up by the alt-right.
