I pick up their poop, train 'em, buy the food, pay the vet bills, put up with their antics. We have three. Gotta love em.
I'm interested in having a dog or two, or even cats also. I used to have 3 cats with my ex-fiance. They were hers and she took them with her when she moved out almost 3 years ago. One died within a year or her moving out. We had 2 guinea pigs too. She took them when she left, as she should have. I really didn't have the time to take care of them and 2 of the cats she already had before moving in with me. So she got custody haha. In my current situation, I am not able to have any pets, because I live alone and spend a lot of time away from home for about 7 months out of the year. I have a roommate, but he works with me and also spends spends a lot of time away. One day (probably in another life) I do hope to have some pets again though! either then or in retirement! I will admit that I like cats a little more than dogs, if not just because I have a pet peeve and hang up with getting dogs hair on me. But it's something that I can deal with!
