Remember trying to set the tent up while Bill was pounding pre-surf beers? And they weren't even bad, relatively, that day.
lolz! I well recall that day, Herrrmannno! As I drove away, I was hoping that the craft bourbon would take some of the 'sting' outta those vampires who had you guys lined up in their sights.

No see ums are these very tiny flies you can't see unless you squint and look hard for them. They buzz around you and bite and itch temporarily. If you hose down under the shower, they don't bite. They only come out if there is no wind or barely any wind. Prefer them any day over the deer flies. Love bugs are another story, they don't bite but they hang out and mate over the warm roads. In season, they will cover the windshield and front of car so thick on your way to the beach, you can't barely see. They eat the paint too, so you gotta scrape them off once or twice a day. They come with off shores, blowing in from the swamps.
"They come with off shores, blowing in from the swamps." I would think you have bigger fish to fry Betty
