    My friend was in Seaside Park when all of this went down, he lives there and was out and about when it all happened.

    Glad no one was hurt there.

    Sad to hear that wasn't the case in Manhattan.

    Whoa. I live way to far from the city to of heard any explosion. But last night me and the lady were hanging out in the living room when we heard a big bang. She asked me what it was. I responded by saying gunshot or bomb. I didn't respond that way to be funny, but I wasn't being completely serious either. Sort of sounded like loud bangs you hear on 4th of July from people setting off mortars or whatever there called. After reading this, I wish I had responded to her question differently

    I will bet money that soon, Mayor DeBlasio or Obama will try to blame Trump for this.

    Don't feel guilty, that was just instincts, and they were correct. Please be careful out there, keep an eye out for anything looking suspicious, and report it if you see anything.

    I love that we dont have to worry about this in smaller southern towns aboot 4 days ago I saw a Burkini for the first time in my life.... Weird.

    One of my students was running in the 1 mile race, and planned to run the 5K, too.

    Good thing you never have to worry about a bomb going off in the lineup.
