I've never reported anybody, don't plan on it. I think it's better to bury them with an onslaught of posts and then go cold on them and ignore them into irrelevancy.

 

Another thought on the topic....reporting trolls because the govt, er, mods want you to do so 'in the name of a better society' is akin to being ok with the NSA hanging out on your phone calls, the FBI recording your movements, the NSA monitoring your email & the federal govt insinuating itself deeper & deeper into your private lives as much as they can.

I'm not ok with any of that. It's not a conspiracy thing at all, btw. It's happening & most people cognizant of our civil liberties know it's happening.

No idea how old you are, bassmon, but you seem to be of that generation who has been brainwashed to think believe that more authority dictating how you will live & how you will think & how you will behave is going to solve every lil problem of the human virus.

Nothing, and I mean nothing, could be further from truth. When the overseers run you, only bad things come down the feeding tube.

 

I hear ya. But you got it wrong. I'm not the type to report anything. I absolutely do not think more authority dictating anything will solve problems. But this one time, I did report. And you know what? I knew people wouldn't agree with it. Hell I don't 100% agree with it. But I'm not going to lie and I'll own up to it. I did it.

Now to be clear, I didn't and won't report anything except a troll. Like I said, Austin said he'd handle it. I want to see if it does get handled. I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt here because he does seem like he dosn't want to change the culture here. I want to see if he puts his money where his mouth is.

I'm not ratting on people because I was told to. I'm not running to the mods. I'm seeing if they do what they said they would.

I would 100% prefer to deal with them the usual way around here. But what's that get us? Banned? Losing people who are what makes this forum what it is.

With that being said, I also agree that reporting was lame. I'm not proud of it. But I did it. But don't get it twisted. My intent was not to kiss the mods ass. That ain't me. If my reporting got him banned, I wouldn't continue. I would just know that these mods aren't all talk. If he didn't, which he didn't, I'd know these mods are blowing smoke up our asses. Goldenbullcow isn't funny. If he was, this wouldn't of happened. It's people like this that have the mods cracking down on us. It's people like that why U2B can't say go kill yourself anymore. I wanted to see if reporting him would get rid of him.

I totally get that most won't agree with it. But don't pretend like you know me, saying I'm brainwashed. Because you couldn't be further from the truth. I wasn't letting the mods run me. I was seeing if Austin truly does care about the culture here. Maybe it was a mistake, but my intentions were not.

 

If you some crack once, are you a crack head? I smoked crack once. Got all dressed up in suits and listened to Johnny cash all night. It was a blast. But I never and will never touch the stuff again. Curiosity. Did something I said I'd never do, just to see. Same thing here. Just wanted to see what would happen

Okay so if you haven't smoked crack once behind a fried chicken place with your cousin and a homeless black dude and then gone to a punk show then your life is meaningless.

Also the only time it's okay to report someone is if it's in complete and total irony OR if the person is actually in your home and has you at gunpoint or is raping you and you can't call 911 but your screen is up so you ask the mod to call 911. And even then you're being a ***** about it.
