Yard signs don't win elections. They may help in local elections with less well known candidates. Everybody knows who Trump and Clinton are. At the presidential level voter turnout wins elections.

And that is the key to the whole thing: The Electoral College. Although rarely if ever happening, the winner of the popular vote doesn't mean they win the Electoral vote.

The radical republicans went to the Electoral College and told the Southern States delegates to give their votes to Hayes and in return, all Union troops occupying the South would be pulled out. They agreed. The result? End of reconstruction and the rise of Jim Crow laws, segregation for almost 90 years.

That is my point. The people who are more passionate tend to put out items that show their support. I know many people who love Trump but don't tell anyone because people vandalize and steal private property when they see it. The sign of a true Clinton supporter, vandalize Trump supporters homes or steal property, then cry when they get in trouble with the police. My main point is that these Trump people, the ones that people don't even know about because they don't voice that he is their candidate will swing this election. They aren't even included in the polls because the fear of slander. The typical racist card is thrown at them but they will be voting on Nov 8th.

 

Even if Trump wins, I don't see the establishment letting him become president.

I'm nobody special but I am registered to vote and have not participated in any polls aside from the SI poll, which we all know it's the only poll that matters anyways, but yeah, I'm voting Trump and nobody knows it but you guys and my wife. I'm sure lots of people are just like me. I have no signs in my yard, no stickers on my vehicle, no hats or shirts. I'm registered as Independent or no party affiliation too. So i'm really on nobody's radar.

Well they aren't doing a good job of soliciting me cause i'm bother free from any of it. I only have my cell phone and it's not being called by anybody from either party. I haven't received anything in the mail. Nobody has knocked on my door. I haven't received any emails. I literally have not been approached by any party about anything, ever. Even when I was registered Republican, nobody bothered me, idk, seems some people are able to stay under the radar. I've also never given any money to any party either, so that's probably a reason too.
