figured i bring this to everyone's attention and hear your thoughts. Some words from the maker" handcrafted wooden Swingboards™ engineered for surfing the air! Each board is one of a kind, and 100% proudly made in the USA.With its unique patent-pending shape, the Swurfer gives you more power, stability, and a wider range of motion than traditional swings. Hop on to unwind, play, have fun, workout, stretch, practice extreme board tricks when you’re not on the water/snow, or perfect your core balance"
i don't get it (at least the part talking about it helping without waves) nor would i buy one (retail i think is ~$150). there's a specialty board listed too,but i dunno why its special - diff wood i guess. i can see how it may have some relation to an INDOboard, but this a very limited correlation. but maybe there's ppl out there with a better design or actually know how to shape this "invention" into something more relative to surfing/windsurfing that could be beneficial<---that's the only reason i'm sharing this thread with you all. for making this product better - tho i have nothing to do with Swurfer at all.
I like swings and hanging out in trees. I like the concept. Not the price... I'm always making ish and I'm actually making a porch swing now. I think I could buy a concave blank off E-bay and make my own for under 50 bucks. Don't think There would be any surf or skate tricks you could learn with it, but it might be fun.
