^...interesting song...never heard it...reminds me of this (love this song). Recently, I told (on the telephone) someone registered for this site that when I first registered, I was under the impression many females were typing. Much of it had to do with the verbosity, but there were other things...
I recognize this one from them, but both are cool songs. Having many alpha males and no females, other than my mother, greatly influenced my music.
Saw them at a small club about 10 years ago. Still loud. Jesus Flo! How can you not know the song Pretty in Pink???? Do you even Molly Ringwold??? Seriously, your on-line persona confuses me...
Maybe it is because my punk rock days came before your punk rock days? I recall sneaking into a few places with a previously mentioned girlfriend of mine that I used to pal around with. We were under 16, (yes, both females and not lesbos, but funny)...lasted about two summers. I also recall (the following year or two) this guy always driving up to us on the beach in his punked-out TR-6 (polka dot), heavy into the scene. The two of us would always compete regarding being able to get off the beach in Anastasia (was difficult), without getting stuck (I always had one of my father's vettes, but never got stuck, despite the low front end ). I really cannot remember any of those bands, though.
miserable boyz...you require happy music...
Flo.... I sang Chemical Warfare with Jello Biafra. Smoked a splief with Klaus Flouride. Henry Rollins kicked me in the head. I got in a fist fight with one of Flipper's roadies. I Split a pitcher of beer with Anthony Kiedis and Flea during the Freaky Styley tour. Did a back flip off a stage with Dee Dee Ramone.... These are a few things I remember. Unless you were hanging with iggy pop or MC5 in the late 60's....
When I was in College Park late 70's early 80's saw a lot of bands like them came through the small venue scene. And yes, very loud. Might be why I don't hear everything my wife claims she told me.. There could be other reasons. Once saw these guys in a small venue outside Baltimore early 80s.. different genre, but still loud in a gym. I noticed a few of your previous posts, lol... We were hanging where I said, at various places; I simply do not recall the names of the places, nor the bands... I remember the days at the surf, instead, and that one guy sticks within my mind (we always looked forward to it...crazy guy, lol)... I do recall going into Lynyrd Skynyrd's place a few times over on 1st street, but that was a different scene altogether...

I was discussing music with shelldonné today and I was reminded of one of my brother's musical ventures. If you frequented small punk clubs in north Jersey or CBGBs back 15-20 years ago you may have seen them appearing as Twig, Breakneck, Quagmire or one of many other names they performed under depending on their mood. Here they are as Quagmire doing My Life Sucks.
