If you surf in Delaware and would like high resolution photos of your surfing session, contact me! I'm a local photographer who will photograph you and provide high resolutions of your session on a CD for you use. My price for the remainder of 2007 will be $50 per person/session (includes CD of photos). This is a great deal!! Schedule now... Tuesday!!

Sounds like a cool deal. I wish I knew about it in the summer, I head down to my friends beach house in Dewey a lot but he closes it up for the winter. Do you have a website of your work?

it sucks that when the waves are good there is nothing to show for it. Photos are sick. You should lower the price. Thats steep for one session. Maybe only a few good ones tops.

Watershots would be worth it though. They are so much better. If you strap on some churchills and swim out that would be a deal!:D

I think you should hold it at $50. That is a great price. I am a graphic designer and getting people to pay what your worth is the hardest thing when doing creative work

Yeah, don't you dare charge less than $50 per session for shots from the beach. In water should be at least $100 per session.

No, actually $50 is a great price!! Most photographers would charge more per hour!! I wouldn't be charging that price if I was only going to give you few decent photos. Action shots actually allow for more variety.:)

when the waves are good, its hard to get any one to put the board aside and take pics. For someone to sit a session out and take pics that will be cherished memories for years to come is priceless. thanks for only charging $50.

OC would work as long as I don't get too busy up here. Just let me know and if my schedule is open, I can come down there. It works out since I'm a photographer and my husband is the surfer. :) Keep me in mind down there and thanks!

    Photography. . .

So that means that somebody owes me $50 for the photo of the month? John Ashton and George Smith got freebies from me on the July inlet swell, but then that's what friends are for, eh?

What equipment do you use? Camera , lens's , editing programs? Whats your experience? Website? What time frame does $50 cover ,hour , 2 hours???

Some questions a paying customer will want answered. Trust me , my wife and I shoot weddings for money ,surfing for fun....when I can pry myself outta the water long enough to shoot.:D

Nikon D200 w/300m lens; Photoshop CS3; 40 years; none; depends upon the quality and frequency of your rides. If you know what I mean. I've got no place to be, and no time to be there. I think the images speak for themselves: See the http://www.swellinfo.com/gallery/showimage.php?i=1165&catid=member&imageuser=411 photo of the month of Drex Harrington.

    Sponge photos

I have to admit, your shots are definitely "sponge worthy" to quote a Seinfeld line. You clearly understand primo positioning for bodyboarders. I think Jay Reale and Brian Stoehr would concur. Nice work, but I don't recall what the best breaks are in Westover. Stay wet- it's the only way to be. And I must add, some especially nice wedding photography! I've shot one or two weddings in my time, but I really didn't like it. Just remember, surfers are generally cheap, much like myself.

    whats with the anti~sponger vibe???

    Thanks for the kudos .
I don't care how anyone decides to ride waves, long as they show some edict. I believe most of us do it for the same gratification and reasons. Much the same as people that decide to take photographs not 'snapshots'

...Westover Maryland is 35 mins to OCMd. I'm in the line up whether knee high or over head high conditions , water 40 deg. or 77 deg.
And if I ever hit the lotto I'll be the only redneck with a flowjet wave in my backyard!
