You left out the greatness of my humility.

This is what happened in this election and a real life example of why the democrats lost. Before Obama my health insurance was about $7000 a year with a $2000 deductible. That policy went up to a combined $20,000 with Obamacare, I refused to pay that so we dropped health coverage altogether. Just found out from the accountant at my wife's business that we have to take healthcare for the business to write off the group of employees as an expense. The best quote we can get is $12,000 a year with a $13,000 deductible for me my wife and my son. Think about that $25,000 a year before one benefit comes from it?

Everyone who knows me from this board would say that I'm a pretty mellow guy. I have never been more willing to fight then I am now. Even living in MD where my presidential vote was cancelled out by the sesspool of Baltimore I would tell anyone who would listen that I would walk miles over broken glass to cast my vote for trump and against every democrat I see on the ballet for the rest of my life. After these 8 years I'm convinced that I will never vote for a democrat locally or nationally ever again. Obama has awakened a sleeping giant in the conservative base, sucked the life from his party, decimated his bench for the next generation and left one hell of a legacy for our country.

What is my metric for a good president? DESTROY THIS LAW! Good bye Obama, Hillary, Harry and the rest of you jackasses and good riddance.

Just a follow up to your inane drivel, here's what I was doing after responding to your tripe:

It was as good as it looks. Going out again today, 28 degree air and 45 degree water with offshore head high smokers. Just more of the same.

Maybe *you* should try surfing more, instead of posting debunked garbage and playing Post Police.

I think it's fairly simple. You get elected based on campaign promises. You get graded by fulfilling those promises or not. I would say if he's accomplished 40-45% of them by year 4, I would vote to re-elect. I would say if he accomplishes 90% of the campaign promises by end of year 8, I would say he was successful.

Soon you can blame the Republicans for your health care costs increases as this trend is not likely to change unless the Republicans do some very un-Republican things and put in cost controls like the rest of the free world has done. Note Obamacare didn't even start until the end of 2013.

Plus your out of pocket max is $6850 per person. So if one person has a serious medical event, you would start realizing a benefit after 18K, not to mention you benefit from the insurance negotiated rates for everything which is usually 50% cheaper than non-insured people would pay. It still sucks, but that's what run away medical costs have brought us to.

Why do you assume I like Trump? I simply said Obama is going out as an egomaniac. I will judge Trump once he starts making policy.

So by your logic, Obama was successful.

He passed Health Care Reform, a big promise of his. He withdrew from Iraq, another big promise of his, along with not maintaining any permanent bases in Iraq. He ended the use of torture. He stabilized the economy. He instituted the National Infrastructure Protection Plan. He reformed No Child Left Behind. He expanded Pell Grants. He repealed Don't Ask, Don't Tell. **** he even promised he would push for a college football play off and it happened. He also promised to not go after guns and didn't at all.

Now everyone may not agree all these things were good ideas, myself included; however, it is the agenda he ran on in 2008. So by your logic DP, you would consider Barack successful?

    Just curious.
