I think this cuts both ways unfortunately. I'd actually say that it's much worse for an incoming president than a lame duck president in his last few weeks in office. I want the president to be 100% professional, I don't need the president to be relatable I need him to do work and instill confidence. I'm hoping Trump can get into office and shed his pettiness and just get to work.

Trump would be so much better off if he let his detractors hang themselves, and let his mouthpieces respond on his behalf. I think Twitter is for idiots, but I also realize that by using it, he is bypassing the same media that has been demonizing him non-stop and avoids the all-too-common scenario of the media twisting his words and policies.
