Jeez dude, you act as if applying for citizenship is like ordering a Big Mac. An immigrant (ALL immigrants, ALL over the country) wishing to become a US Citizen has many, many hoops to jump through and must live in the country for a number of years before they can even *apply* for citizenship. But to answer your question, CIS Immigration and Citizenship offices are open all over the country...even in the smallest boroughs in the furthest reaches (Portland, Maine for one small example).

The border could be sealed very easily, if our politicians *truly* wanted it. That goes for both Democrats *and* Republicans, who are both guilty of creating "policies" which circumvent our actual laws. And we wouldn't need to militarize the border, because there are almost 20,000 Border Patrol agents who have the motivation, training and technology to do a more-than-adequate job. All they need is to be told to do their jobs the way they were taught in their Academy, without any more interference from politicians creating policies that are contrary to actual written law.

Anybody, anywhere at anytime. Many are able to obtain employment without proper documentation through word of mouth, because there are too many Americans that are more than willing to break the law in order to save a few bucks.

The majority though, obtain work with fraudulent immigration documents and Social Security cards. They are very cheap and easy to obtain, and very few employers take the time to verify them.

Excellent point. As I previously stated, laws exist to prosecute employers (see IRCA 1986, aka "Reagan's Amnesty). However, neither party is interested in prosecution and sanctions because it is a political football for them.

Until the laws are actually enforced to the letter, in addition to the immediate cessation of politicians creating illegal policies, we will never know if the laws we have created will actually work to stem the flow of illegal immigrants.

Additionally, it makes no sense to have "immigration reform" without actually enforcing our existing laws.

Nah, but I can def bust out at least 60. Dad was a football coach that kicked my arse with calisthenics every day after school for 5 years. I'm a machine when it comes to pushups and situps. I'm still an avid weightlifter and have a pretty sweet gym set up in my finished basement.

 

After not lifting for almost 10 yrs I got back into pushups only. started back around halloween and could only do 27 till failure. now doing 95 - 100 till failure, depending on the day. It is an insane workout without the time drain and expense of gyms. Extreme cardio when exerting like that for a solid 2 minutes.
2 minutes once every 2 days...That's it and you mortals can be jacked like me.

 

I too can do 100 push ups. It is the only workout I do now. I do 250 (50x2 then 75x2) push ups in the AM when I wake up and 250 in the PM when I get home...
It really is the quickest and productive way the stay in shape

 

That's crazy, I'll have to do that. Any advise on how to start? Like 4 sets of ten in the morning and something at night adding a set a week?
