What Alex Jones' cum tastes like...

    Bam.

No. Because no. Because those of us over 50 rode the tail end of an era where American households made livable wages, then we voted in neoliberal corporatists who sold out the American workforce pretending to be two parties that squabbled over surface level crap that we were told was important, and they sacked social security and allowed medical corporates profit off of suffering, and we watched our investment portfolios swell up as the companies who sold out the workforce made profits off of foreign labor and we bought an extra 30 years of prosperity off of an emerging credit economy and we don't care how that story ends because we will be dead and call ourselves a better generation and whats wrong with these damn kids they can't fix the world we broke for them anyway...

Art Buchwold... Robots Don't Wear Tennis Shoes.

Commies and Trump see eye to eye: bring back manufacturing in America. Except we need livable wages. There was never any reason to cut labor costs to "be competitive". Tax the sheet out of imports and pay workers a livable wage, don't bog them down with debt, and they will buy more sheet.

Donkey, you are officially my fourth favorite on this forume.

Progressive policies create rape? How? Chem trails? That's not a statement you just made. Those are some nouns thrown together. Elaborate on how environmental and social responsibility have led to rape. Please connect the fors. You can't. That's the dumbest effing thing I've ever heard.

So I guess the increase of rape in Sweden is caused by the Swedes.
It's got nothing to do with the progressive policies that has flooded Sweden with Muslum immigrants whose ideological beliefs consider women 2nd class citizen and treat them like animals.

So you're saying that Swedish progressivism as a whole is only one talking point: accepting immigration? That's it? It has nothing to do with... Healthcare? Prison reform? Education? Religion or lack thereof? Environmentalism? Pacifism? Workers rights? All of Swedish progressivism is immigration policy? Wow.

And correct me if I'm wrong but per the idiocy that sparked this, did you not refer to all the progressive scandavian countries as failing? Can you name them all without going to Wikipedia? Can you cite any economic or cultura examples.

Or are you saying the immigrants that they allowed in committed the crimes based on their values or lack thereof.

You only get to pick one.

Crime in Scandinavia is NOTHING compared to crime in the USA.

Dude... you made a dumb statement. Own it. It made no sense. You're called out. Can anyone actually defend that progressive values in Scandinavia have led to Sweden becoming a rape orgy? Any takers?

Not worth the 2 minutes it took to read it, because they didn't bother to write it.

"But can ocean-lovers, goers, surfers et al rely on the shoulders of Trump to speak out for the benefit of the planet's climate? It all remains to be seen."

What the hell does that even mean? So in addition to being incapable of a coherent forecast, a coherent sentence is beyond MSW's reach.

    Dude you gotta lighten up.
From Swedish crime reports the majority of rape perps are Mooslum.
As far as progressivism goes I disagree with what it leads to which is a centralization of power.
If you are so Fukin punk you wouldn't stand for having someone telling you what you can and can't do with your money, children, private property, or body.
BTW Bad Reliogon sucks! Countless albums and every song sounds the same.
Eat my fuk. I'm done with you and this argument cuz I'm too busy workin hard to fund my 6 week stay in the tropics and no some kids healthcare because his parents are too irresponsible to do it themselves.

I guess it depends on the punk genre...Anarchy, Garage, Pop etc. (thrash even)

Early bands like the Clash were cool. I really started getting into it in the early 80s. I was a skate rat charging half pipes and listening to bands like: bad brains, DK, black flag, agent orange, dead milkmen, circle jerks, some Bad Religion (actually did not really listen to them until late 80s early 90s. Oh and Agnostic Front...they freaking rip.

The thing about Punk for me was really the instrumental aspect. The Lyrical side was cool I guess. A lot of the same stuff (F the govt etc) or just off the wall **** that was senseless mayhem lol.

Heading in to the 90s, the whole grunge thing always seemed too commercialized for me. Plus I think I started to mellow out a bit with cranking thrash all the time.

Since, I will listen to just about anything but new music today sucks big time. I was jamming some Primus last night!!!

BTW, the gov't will not save us...just saying:)

I didn't change the subject. Progressive government in Scandinavia does everything U2B has mentioned,
    but at a cause.
If you want higher taxes and more restrictions than progressivism is for you.

Mothercock I'm the last guy on this forume you want as a nemesis. You come posting conspiracy sheet with behold a pale horse under your arm and a few Alex jones pubes in your teeth and then you slide in line with populism. You've demonstrated you have the reading comprehension for an eight year old. Dude you're about as programmable as they come. You made a stupid blanket statement and you can't back it up. That's what happened. Conspiracy dudes are cute because they're enthusiastic and they're hearts are in the right places but it's clearly overcompensating for a lack of understanding of the overall global situation.

Progressivism does not tell you what you can and can't do with your body. Progressivies are pro choice. Now if you're a vaccination tard and you want play that angle then I guess you're right then.

Dude unrestrained capitalism doesn't lead to centralized power?! Business interests don't impact government over the needs of the populous?! Really? Corporate America is looking out for the little guy huh? Corporate America is socially responsible? Government is not some inaccessible entity if you participate. I call my reps all the time. I've lobbied for wage increases in front of state senate. Democracy can be accessible. And progressives promote democracy. If government didn't keep capitalism in check with regulations then we would be paying the company store a nickel short each week. And those regulations allow you to earn a wage that allows you to experience guess what more personal freedom.

Find me one conservative government that doesn't tell you what you can and can't do with your private property, your children, your body.

You don't get to just say bullsheet and have it not go unchecked. You made an idiot statement.

And broheim I've been punk for many moons there young spike horn. And there are many different "sects" of punk. You'll find most punk bands are anti war, anti wealth and greed, pro environment, pro dissent, and pro thought. You my friend are none of those.

Now like a big boy you can own that you said something stupid and post a picture of a bunny or I can troll you for eternity. Choose what hill you want to die on you bundle of sticks.

I listened to all those bands you mentioned and saw quite a few of them back in the day. I probably got into it back in 84 when I was 13, like I said in the punk thread. I don't live by the lyrics, I took them to heart a little more in the 80's as a teenager. Some of them still resonate with me, others not so much. I loved all the New York hardcore in the late 80's, still do. Still see a lot of those bands when they play shows, which seem to be the only shows I attend these days. I only have time to attend them in the Spring and Summer anyways. After my favorite bands from New York broke up in the early 90's, I had a steady girlfriend and job and I didn't see as many shows as I had gone to in the past. I still listened to the music though and listened to a lot of the Epitaph stuff and the newer hardcore bands that were coming out. After I split from that girl around 97, I had more free time and started attending a lot more shows in the late 90's and early 00's when I could. I liked NOFX a lot back in the late 80's and early-mid 90's. Can't stand them at all anymore, some of those earlier records are cool though. Same with Bad Religion.

One thing that annoyed me about Bad Religion was their anti capitalist message, then they go and sign with Atlantic Records. I have no problems with punk bands signing to major labels. I don't see them as sell outs, unless they speak out against capitalism and the like, like Bad Religion was doing. I never accused bands like Green Day or The Offspring of selling out. The only thing that bothered me about when bands signed to those labels were they usually changed their sound and became more pop oriented and radio friendly. The only bands that didn't change their sound too much after signing with them were Sick Of It All and Bad Religion particularly. And neither band ever had much mainstream success, nor sold a gold or platinum record. Although Stranger Than Fiction by Bad Religion may have achieved gold status. I believe it took a few years of being out for it to finally go gold. Neither of those bands changed from their previous record before the major label releases. Bad Religion did make one really awful album towards the end of their Atlantic Records days. The last one they put out on there back in 99 or 00, before they brought Brett Gurewitz back and went back to Epitaph.

I love punk music though, as I've just made two long posts in separate threads professing my love for it haha. But I don't conform to political philosophies associated with the music, at least not blindly. There's some things I agree with and a whole lot that I don't agree with.
