Stuart area. I really like a couple of the reefs around there, that tend to have fun lefts on a E/NE swell.

I should have said on the days there was some size it was blowing onshore @ 15 at least when i looked. You're right there were some smaller days towards the end of the trip that were lighter. Felt great to get in some warmer water even if it was sloppy. We're having about as warm a winter as you can have in the mid atlantic and i'm still kind of over it despite good surf like yesterday and again today.

Ah, that makes sense, you were further south, that's borderline SFL IMO. I thought you were up near Cocoa, Satellite, Melbourne area. Conditions were a touch better up here. Next time you come down shoot me a PM and I'll be glad to help you score.

Waist highish and kind of bumpy/crumbly in Monmouth this morning right around low tide. Nothing special but glad I went out. Light onshore winds, moderate north to south current, overcast, unseasonably warm air temps in the mid 40s. Paddled out for an hour and glad I did. Continued trying to train my feet to find the right spots on the shortboard I've been playing around with. Definitely not the right board for today, way too much rocker, but worked for my purposes. Caught a bunch of waves, ate it on most, got a few very short and mediocre rides, but was okay with that because it wasn't great to begin with. Surprisingly warm and had fun, although I'll probably never think about this session again in my life after another hour or two. Looking like some fun longboard waves for tomorrow, hoping to get out on a board I can actually ride proficiently for the first time in a couple weeks.

Keep at it, brother... your feet will start to have a mind of their own soon.

I actually left the SB in the truck yesterday and took out the longboard. By the time I got out, the North wind had taken a dump on the swell and turned it to junk. Tide was still a little too full, too. I figured I'd at least reduce the frustration factor somewhat by smoothing out the bumps with the log. Felt good... I haven't ridden it in a while. Would have taken the same board out this morning, too, if I wasn't heading to work.

Winds could be more cooperative tomorrow.

Just got back. Dry. I put my board on car, saw waves, winds are chopping it up, turned around and drove the 1 minute drive home.
    Tomorrow.

Waist to boobie high late morning. Incoming tide. Went to my regular spot. NO ONE around as far as the eye could see. Little more juice than I thought it would be. I made one mistake though. I grabbed the wrong pair of gloves. Holes in between the fingers and maybe 2 mil. Instead of driving the 10 minutes back to the house, I decided to say fock it and just go. My hands were focking hurting. Cut my session short by about 30 minutes. Didn't matter anyways as the tide was coming up making it crumbly and it started to pour.

Man it's one of those nights in MD, no wind, completely still and the ocean roaring. The sound from my yard is insane I wish I could record it but everytime I try there is nothing.
