Buxton Local Dies While Surfing Lighthouse

Dang that sux. RIP dude.

 

Very young, very sad.
RIP

 

Always sad to loose a fellow surfer while endulging in his passion.
May he rest in peace and surf the heavens.
My prayers go out to him and his family.

I'm learning to just enjoy the day no matter what! Sometimes we take life for granted and there are absolutely no guarantees that tomorrow will come! I'll be praying for his family and friends! Peace!

 

That's the 2nd person to pass at the lighthouse (that I know of). Sux. RIP brother

 

Sad to hear of this. However, if I had my choice, there's no way I would rather go than doing what I love. May he Rest In Peace.

He had a medical history of seizures.

 

Awful, wishing the best for his family and friends.

 

At 32 I doubt he had a stroke, although possible. My guess would be getting a concussion or broken neck, leading to drowning.

 

And there's this. My ex GF was a type 1 diabetic, sh*t is scary stuff man.

I seen brett post this,everyone says the guy must of had a seizure.he wasn't an amateur and it was a mediocre day,something happened and nobody was around to help.he wasn't in over his head,just a sad accident is all.rip

 

Happens every year or so for one reason or another

 

yea i knew him from passing from surfing the lighthouse. he was a solid surfer too.you couldn't miss him with his green board. really sad to see another staple of the obx pass away. As to the other person that died at the lighthouse a couple years ago, i think he was struck by lightning. gonna be kind of spooky surfing out there tomorrow. should be pretty solid if things work out. wish me luck....
