A day in Long Branch with "The Grinch"

    I don't know how to post these videos the right way but they're def worth checking out! My boys and I got together with Jack from SRH and his "Grinch," what a sick day of ripping the **** out of some thigh high waves. High speeds, big hacks, and huge airs!

    Some guy video taped a few runs and put in on youtube as "Seaview Grinch." Pretty cool, but it's crazy that this was yesterday and it's already on youtube from some spectator........

    this was sunday? later in the day? i was at seaview earlier, but the surf was awful.

    Surf was def small, but it was perfect for the Grinch. We anchored the Grinch into the jetty @ seaview then ran the line out to the jetty north and hit some serious sections getting pulled in. The swell picked up a bit later in the day but it was still a bit mushy.

    The cable has 2000 feet of line; it's amazing! You get to completely tear waves apart and your cruisin at like 20-30 mph...

    would you call those waves on the video 1ft? Just want to see where your coming from. Looks to me to be weak Knee to waist high longboard waves.

    that's KNEE HIGH with maybe a waist high set but super super weak, and that was after it supposedly picked up. it's not the first time they were wrong on a report either.

    i went to check the waves that day. i was pulling up, and i heard. GET UP! GET UP!.....eat ****. The whole time i was watching, you guys were eating ****. i didnt see any airs or anything. just people eating it

    Well Mez, you should have stuck around for a while. Next time you should introduce yourself and after I smack you upside your head, we'll give you a go at the Grinch. This way we can see how fast you can GET UP, GET UP. You obviously are a little jelous that we have a machine that lets us surf ****ty little waves at high speeds. Jelousy is a weak emotion, grow some balls kook!
