I've been outta town for the past 3 weeks and wasn't supposed to be back until the 21st. Changed plans and surprising the wife and kids by coming home on the 14th.
Crowded restaurants and bars. Stupid holiday. Me and the lady will go out this weekend and do what we normally do. Grab lunch or dinner. Have some drinks. Have some more drinks. Go home and hang out doing whatever we feel in the mood for. This weekend were saying it's for valentine's days. But in reality, we'd be doing this anyway.
Valentines Day is by far the best holiday for a single dude... Every chick in the bar is single, depressed that she is and wants to be loved for the night
I've been a very good man and it's been tough over these 3 weeks. Met some extremely qualified and willing candidates. Had to keep reminding myself that I'm happy at home. Kids make that easier too. I'm happy at home because I know she's not doing anything like that. Whenever you surprise someone you run the risk of being surprised as well. I've thought about it but I think it's highly unlikely.
My girl does not give a fock about v-day and that's another reason why we're still together. We always eat well and this day will be no different
I'm going to cook my wife dinner for a change, since she usually does the cooking (her choice). I'm going to do cedar plank salmon on the grill with oven baked potatoes and veggies along with a bottle of wine. Digest for a couple hours and then go get a 90 minute deep tissue couples massage. Then home to get some of that good good.
