That board's not worth $750. I don't know what the east coast vs west coast markup is; but in SoCal you'd be damn lucky and or skilled to get $400.
Hence the term negotiable in the title. Why even make a comment like that; so I have trouble providing someone with a product that they want.
Gaff is correct, you are a little over priced. And negotiable is usually closer to the original price you are asking, not almost half of what you are asking. Good luck
Blows my mind the part about paying $1100 for a generic looking Stewart longboard four years ago? thats nuts. I mean glassing a pu blank with epoxy *if thats what you mean by blend* might justify adding 50 bucks to new price. Sorry - in konw you are trying to sell it and its a decent longboard that someone will probably pay you 500 for and get a good deal for them selves
I paid about $650 - $700 for a brand new custom 9' HPLB. That price for a used Stewart is high but he did say it's negotiable, so someone give him an offer. Go low and meet in the middle lol
Make sure it isn't that Stewart S-winger that blew out to sea last week. I'd hate to meet that lady face to face.
Its a cheap Chinese made GSI that has 4oz glass on it. I can buy a hand shaped Epoxy Redline direct from Bill Stewart for 850 that is properly glassed and has some artistic elements. 350 is the max anyone should go.
I don't know what dictionary you read or what you do for a living, but the term negotiable means I as the seller am capable/willing to negotiate the price down to a realistic and fair price. Every sale of a good is negotiable as far as price, unless their is a contract involved. The term negotiable does not adopt a different meaning based on whether the price is realistic as to what the product is worth. A dimwit would buy this board for $750.00. An even bigger dimwit would put their starting price as to what the product is actually worth.
Sorry, I'm not in sales so I'm a little slow. Let me get this straight, you're counting on finding someone who's a "dimwit" to buy this? What da ya mean by dimwit? Are you saying like someone a little slow, Forrest Gump, Mr. Bean, (Oxford, not Bros) or Clownface Stylee, or is it a confirmation bias thing where you just think of a dimwit as someone less bright than yourself? I'm just a novice when it comes to the buying and selling of skurfborts , but calling your potential customers "dimwits" seems like a bad sales ploy to me. Have you thought of dumbass? You're welcome
I really hate when people try and sell used boards for way more than there worth, and try and throw in some sales pitch. I get some guys pay more than they should for new boards, but that's on the original buyer. I don't know. I guess I'm just weird. But if I'm selling a board, i don't want to sell it to a kook or "dimwit". I want to sell it to someone who can appreciate it and take care of it. And if i am selling to a beginner who just doesn't know any better, i want to give them a deal. Not milk every cent out of them KNOWING its not worth that much. 350 tops like someone else mentioned. Asking for 750 then saying negotiable, then acting like an ass to gaff about what the word negotiable means... your a kook. Asking 450 or even 500 and saying negotiable. Ok that's fine. 750 is 400 bucks more than someone should pay. The word negotiable means nothing in that context
His negotiating skillz are unparalleled. His Trumpian leveraging techniques will embarrass the competition.
Hey guys. I just pulled a dingle berry from my ass hair. I'm selling it for 845 bucks. But don't worry. I'm negotiable
