nice pic...how were the crowds?

 

Still a wayz before i head down there later this year. How was Esterillos? we were talking about staying at Hermosa too as base for the week, but a buddy has a friend's place in Pavones that we can stay at for free. so instead of Hermosa as a home spot, the conversation changed to Hermosa passing through down to Pavones, hitting up spots on the way. sounds like a lotta road, which i don't care for when on vaca. Good pic btw

Was in tamarindo few years back when 2 other Americans and I were caught inside. When I came up one of the fins went into the back of this guys head! You could see this 3 inch flap. Kinda looked liked the fin for a second! Thank god it didn't penitrate his skull! I saw him later in the week with a hat on and a lot more than steri-strips! MRI and stitches. Very lucky, it fugged up my surfing because this guy could surf and was experienced! I was alone on that trip which made it harder to forget! I've also been 200 ft from a great white attacking a seal but that hasn't stopped this hack, moron of a surfer!
