Just like she has names for her personal toys; she probably enjoys their conversation better too. You have been being replaced for years, kids, dog, vibrators, new career then divorce. Like the hoes say " sorry not sorry " god I hate women

With the video I recovered off of her cell phone, she had some rectum beads she called Mr. Brown-gaper.

Inflation. The cost of living is only going up.

    BURGER MEAL

    1960: $0.28

    2015: $4.49

Now, salaries were also lower then too.

Basically yes companies will streamline their operations with automation, but they will keep the profit, generally the savings won't be passed on. Most companies in general already feel like their prices are too low.

Corporations are obligated to their shareholders.

Their customers and employees, not so much

All's they care about is money
if you knew anyone like that irl you wouldn't hang out with them
    also its definition of psychopathy

this model, where the dominant institution of our time (its corpos right now, not gvts' dont be fooled) is coming to an end, I hope. It will get more intense before it crashes, I imagine.

Reading the crytonomicon, snowcrash and diamond age is inspiring. If you don't have time at least read the Wikipedia summaries, fun stories for sure

We have less buying power every year.

$0.28 in 1960 had the same buying power as $2.30 in 2017. Witness your example, above.
Annual inflation over this period was about 3.76%

I shared the "Humans" video with my school's business and careers department. They watched it today and had class discussions.
Today I filled in as a singing, tap dancing tapeworm in my theater class. The kids are gonna be just fine!

    Thanks again T-Rex

Yes, in addition there are simply more things we need. Internet, cell phone. Nothing lasts anymore, hardly anything is made of quality materials and so it needs to be replaced.

Let's not forget a college education costs 100,000 dollars and is equivalent basically to what a high school education was then.

My father was a jeweler. Gold was pretty steady at $32 an ounce after WWII and didn't do the crazy jump until 1979, 1980.
