All I can say is stay out of "fresh water" here in FL, not even remotely worth the risk.

 

LOL One time, my father-in-law found a gator on their front porch looking into the window next to the front door. He chased it off with a machete and it never came back!

 

Neither did this one.

 

Kids say the darndest things lol. What a trooper.

HA HA, I remember growing up in FL. We were always swimming in the lakes as kids.

 

Ha, that girl is awesome. I love how it says local officials closed the beach for a week out of an abundance of caution, how the heck is that gonna help anyone? The gators will move back into the swimming areas because it will be nice and quiet, first day the beach is open will be a free for all. Frankly I would be more scared of the brain eating amoebas.

 

That "super groom" London from the other tread oughta meet her. She could show him a thing or 2. Somethin tells me that girl ain't gonna be givin out participation trophies when she has kids.

I just found out they redid and renamed the Canaveral Pier. It's the dang CB Pier now. CB has to take everything from us. We had our OWN pier, and them rich folks from the south go and snatch it out from under us. I found a pic from 1971 that Pops gave me before he passed. Me in the only surfin contest I ever got talked into enterin. Short bort with a single fin half a mile long. And NO LEASH! Didn't have any place to tie one onto back then. I wanna say we drilled a hole in the fin at first. Hard to remember so long ago. I just became a teenager.

It's working out great Paulie, life is good! Yeah they did change the pier but it's a little nicer now, so you might like it! Although I hardly make it up there, I typically stay down South away from the crowds.

Yeah, I grew up in a little trailer park behind the Cape Canaveral Post Office. The Pier was the SHI* back then. It was actually a bit of a trip south for me. Where all the shredders went. We used to surf closer to Jetty Park, WAY before it turned into Disney World.

Went to JR and SR High in CB. Us lowlife scum from the trailer park up north were held in extremely LOW regard by them Pier Stealin CB zillionaires.
