Let's call it $50k avg vs $71k avg. Folks with a degree are doing better...can't really argue that. But, as we all know...college or not, averages are made up of those above and below the mean.

So, when you look down "your street", there are those below their respective mean...college grad or otherwise. You're all in the neighborhood so to speak.

Why is the high school guy who is "house poor" and the college grad living on the same street? I think the answer to this question tells us a lot...not about you per se (but probably) but about the law of averages.
