Comey just confirmed that 1. Trump was never under investigation and 2. He never ordered him to stop the Russia probe. 3. He confirmed that Trump said he "hoped" he could lift the cloud, meaning let the American people know that he wasn't under any investigation personally. Nothing to see here folks, move along!

Dsup, of all the Trumpsters on this forum you are the most reasonable, and it actually appears you have a life. But..... do you understand how investigations work??? Just because somebody isn't under investigation at the time doesn't mean that will always be the case. It is called building a case, and if it leads to somebody it leads to somebody.

My question to you Trumpster's is: why did Trump feel the need to clear the room and speak to Comey alone? I want your answers, not conservative media spin.

Why did he feel the need to clear the room to speak with Comey alone? To have a 1 on 1 conversation duh. I did that all the time as a manager when I wanted to have a conversation with someone. You always get better responses / communication when dealing with someone in private vs. putting them on the spot in front of others.
