pretty crappy report. no mention of tides on WB? knee high...go surf??? it's been a drag in the southeast, but ya know it's expected here especially in the summer. i'm sure this isn't the go to surf report out of that area right?
i think the cam is looking way down the beach where there is nobody out. right out front there were like 100 ppl.
HAHA! This is exactly what I've ranted about EVERY Summer! Including last weekend. A million roaches floating around on borts when it's flat during the Summer. And even when it's not flat, they're still out there but doing absolutely no surfing at all. Just sitting there floating around on their stomachs. Not sure if they're working on their tan or using it as a raft device like they were lounging around in a pool. Or maybe they don't have a pool, so they're using the ocean as one.
All that, plus I think they want to be associated with the "surf community" (god I hate that term). They can say, "I went surfing today" to all their friends. Maybe post it on Facial Book or Twatter.
There is about 10 to 20 guys out now... Saturday morning Glassy and looks like a nice sunny and warm morning- but about knee high and breaking on the beach.... who knows... with a morning like that, I would be tempted to jump in the water too... it's like 55 here and raining... but at least the waves in Belmar at 23ft

Exactly this! And don't forget showing off in front of their girlfriends! I felt like one of these people today, that I so vehemently hate. I longborted some ankle/knee sets. Not completely flat though AND I actually surf and not just lay on my stomach the entire time. I'll surf the small stuff if that's all I can get. I just take what I can get pretty much.
