Global Warming: Fact or Fiction?

Sh*t goes in cycles, ebb and flow and all that good sh*t. I think it's arrogant to think we humans can or do control it. What will be, will be. Live with it. Climate fanatics are out to f*ckin lunch. Don't be so weird dudes.

We have only been accurately mes tempetur global for about 200 years. That a drop in the ocean when it comes to climate cycles. If it such a big that then why did they have to fake the data? Climate change is about power and control the people who came up with this load of cap don't give a shat about the environment.

I remember my girlfriend from years and years ago did a report for her college class about global warming. I was the one who suggested she do it. It was back in the early 90's. I remember seeing how it was believed that factory farming is the leading cause of it and that a meat eater that rides a bicycle everywhere does more damage to the environment and the planet than a vegan that drives a hummer. I followed up on that years later and that belief seemed to grow even stronger.

Which is why I laugh when fatass Al Gore continues to preach about global warming after stuffing a huge and juicy steak into his fat ****!ng mouth. Same with a lot of those green party characters that still continue to eat their meat. Then they'll tell me that it's my high performance cars and watercraft and bike (even though it gets about 45-48 MPG) and using premium grade fuel that's the problem. Fvck them!

 

^^ eatswell is real. Dude really cares about the environment just like clownface but we are not easily fooled. Smart people don't have to attach to groups because their thoughts are so profound that defining them by joining a group distorts the message

 

I mean, I eat meat almost every day. I contribute to factory farming, so I'm not gonna say that I stand against it. I just hate when the environmentalists tell me the cars I drive and my bike are killing the planet and that I should drive a Prius and my wave runner is poisoning the ocean and meanwhile, they're eating beef and sausage by the freight load.

 

They've been saying this stuff as long as I can remember. In the 70's, scientists were saying that fluorocarbons from deodorant spray cans were one of the main contributors to "the erosion of our ozone layer".

I remember a period during the 80's where there was "strong scientific evidence" that methane from cow farts in Tillamook, Oregon were a prime contributor to (insert 80's term in vogue for "climate change"). It was such a popular notion that it received a lot of electronic media attention, I remember watching a couple of shows about it on shows like 20/20, Nightline and Frontline.

I have to imagine that being a scientist has got to make one susceptible to a huge amount of peer pressure. Going against the grain of popular belief would subject one to much scorn and ridicule.

98% of scientists paid by climate change research money so they keep getting paid.

Natural erosion leads to flooding on barrier islands as the land moves on.

The rest of the world wants us to pay for everything so they can catch up, and so they also want us to move backwards.

 

As I've stated here before, I believe that climate change is real. I also believe that man's activities play a part in it, and therefore should pay attention to being a good steward.

IMO I believe that the current narrative is being overstated. Every single conservative President takes environmental protections off the table for 4-8 years, and then every single liberal President puts them back in place. This has been going back and forth since before Barry was born and had to skin his first Brontosaurus for his surf trunks.

All this back and forth, yet not much has really changed. But in a way, it has. I remember when Los Angeles skies were so green/gray and smoggy that my eyes would burn. Many places were bad, but are now much better. Cleveland and Pittsburgh are excellent examples.

I have to admit that I haven't studied the Paris agreement, but it sounds as if the US is being held to a stricter and more expensive standard than the rest of the world as usual. If that's true, then go in and bargain for something more palatable.

But the water is not going to become undrinkable, the ocean will not turn into a toilet, and the air unbreathable for our children just because the current administration changes environmental policies for the next 4 years. That's just a lot of hubris and nonsense.

If anything manmade is to blame, blame it on the Industrial Revolution. But then, we'd all have to give up every single creature comfort that it brought about.

And I don't see anybody doing that.

How come no science points out the amount of pollution being spewed by the tens of thousands of aircraft in use every single day?

They b1tch and moan about vehicles, oil and coal but the world has these things 30,000 feet closer to the source that burns a super toxic fuel and seems to be without any restrictions whatsoever, like maybe a catalytic converter or whatever. I mean, that sh1t can't be good at all. Yet you never hear it discussed.

Maybe because it would cause a huge inconvenience to every single person in the First World, and might even get their research grants cut to zero.

Or maybe the people who b1tch about climate change the most use airlines as much or more than anybody on Earth, and would make them look hypocritical?

The climate is definitely changing. The earth for sure has a normal change cycle. However after humans that cycle has seemed to be sped up. Through our pollution of all kinds. Factory farming (from the 'cow farts', as well as the processes it takes to provide the amount of cows with adequate feed), and carbon emissions from all sources (cars, boats, planes, and coal powered energy).
We have proof there is increased glacial retreat, as well as warming ocean temperatures. Therefore causing more intensified storm events (hurricanes, blizzards, droughts during the summers, blah blah, etc., etc.).
