So do you want to send an occupying force into Europe to clean it up?

There goes the passive aggressiveness again.
It was the honest truth. Running the beach and throwing the stick in the water to tier out the pup, then some banking and investment management, then food shopping and dinner.
I guess i'm not as skilled as someone who can refill the s+p and scour the SI forum at the same time.

I'm not the one here saying we need to be the world police and calling for a cull on musloids.
I say build a wall, enforce a travel ban, and weed out the bad seeds.

We wouldn't have to police the world if they policed themselves. They need to do their part.

    Dang, y'all.

I went back 10 pages lookin for anything related to global warmin.

    Nada.

    Reckon it's settled then.

George Carlin was right in that video way back over yonder.

The earth is huge and we're little.

Pet the bunnies, and mow your lawn.

Now back to your regularly scheduled programming.

Nah brah, me and Rex are tight. His game is different than yours, no comparison.

Shame really, because so many of your arguments start off on point and then devolve into a quagmire. And yeah, sometimes I go off too.

But I've learned not to argue with you, you never give no quarter. It's cool, just how you're wired.

Can't blame a guy for trying to slow your roll with some common sense though. Better than challenging you to meet IRL, right?

    All good bruddah.
The criticism was constructive and well taken.
But yeah I loose patience. I got it from my old man, but at least I recognize it and catch myself.

Dude I muthafvckin LOVE George Carlin. Carlin and Chapelle are the smartest fockers in Murica.

Love how Carlin started off as a progressive and ended as a conservative. Not too far on one side of the aisle or the other, just enough to keep a true "independent" edge.

Funny thing: how many of us had progressive ideals when we were young, only to become more conservative as we got older and became wiser through actual life experiences? And not just "white guys"...But almost everybody. Blacks. Hispanics. Asians. Middle Easterners.

The worst thing about Western civilization is the total lack of respect that young people have for their elders. Just the complete and total opposite of Asian culture, which is superior to our own in so many ways.I

Lastly: Many people that steadfastly cling to a pure Progressive mantra will eventually become what they detest.

I wish Carlin lived long enough to destroy Twitter, FB, and others... My favorite from him (actually 2), calling Darwin things on the back of the car self righteous, and telling war protesters to stop being puzzies and protest a church instead.

Kyle, I gotta ask...maybe I don't understand the concept of Musk's business model, or I didn't read your explanation of it correctly.

If all the subsidies, profits and other income goes back into the business and temporarily withholds the payment of dividends for the purpose of building up the business, then how does one "make money" on the stock?

And at what point will dividends be paid?

I understand the stock becomes more valuable, but if dividends aren't paid, then no one is making money, except in theory.

    Please explain.

I'd have paid good money to see that. And I had every one of albums. Even had front row seats at Shelter Island for one of his shows. Nobody cut through the BS like Carlin.

I think it really hit me when Obama blew up Libya.
Before that I really didn't give a sh!t about much and just mantrad progressivism.
Even though i'm not religious i'm thankful for my Roman Catholic upbringing.
Definitely instilled some good ethical consciousness.
People who bag on Christianity forget how it shaped societal cohesion.
Now we have the Cultural Marxism phenomenon where perversion is praised.

Shame how that happens. Politics, religion, Boy Scouts...nothing on this Earth seems to be free of perversion or greed.
