Hey, DP made huge sacrifices to move to the coast and be able to serf more than everyone. The whole story was just posted in another thread yesterday. He could've lost his wife, career, everything. What did that rapper guy say...put some respek on it or sometghing.

It's hyper polarization from both sides, this time it was from the left wingnuts. Let's not go round up all the PETA protesters and League of Women Voters now. The guy was a nutjob. Luckily not one of us, I can say with pretty good certainty, sue to geography and how big of a turd he is. But who knows? It wasn't me.

Why do they allow guns in universities but not on the house and senate floor? Just askin? So far, no card carrying member of the NRA has stopped a mass shooting as it unfolded. So the theory is a bit shaky that a well armed population can control violence, seems kinda counterintuitive. But show me the proof.

So now it's round up the Dems.

Big thanks to first responders all over. They are our true blue heroes. Ask someone who serves in law enforcement how they feel about gun control. You'll get shades of grey, not "just let them have their AR-15s."

Maybe you too, a big maybe. I'm using a plural you. Background tests for prior violence and/or mental illness, drug abuse, US Citizenship. Pass a basic weapons course, get on a gun registry, are all responsible non 2nd amendment violations, just common sense. And make sure the police have heavy armor and high powered automatic weapons to out gun the wackos. Fully automatic weapons and armor piercing ammo should be restricted to law enforcement and in certain cases retired military.

Many on the far right will call me a commie and a gun control freak. I don't mind a well armed populace of responsible citizens. People would be so polite.

That's funny I was working in a municipality last year and a police officer on his way to weapons training shot himself in the hand. Probably got paid disability for a nice summer off although with a hole in his hand.

 

The one question I would like answered is this....Do we pay and vote these guys in to play baseball, or to be at work reducing taxes, getting rid of obamacare, and reducing crime??
So then....who is the criminal here?? The cheating politicians or the shooter??

 

With the exceptional healthcare the members receive compared to the taxpayers footing the bill, I am sure the injured will be fine & maybe even the suspect come back to life.
